Big Screen on the Green at Laurelhurst Park: The Sound of Music

Big Screen on the Green is free summer fun at neighborhood parks throughout the city. Movies begin at dusk (between 8:00-8:45 PM), weather permitting. Pre-movie entertainment begins at 6:30 PM so bring a picnic and enjoy! Rain-outs will be called by 5:00 PM and will be posted at the park.Presented by K103 fm, Z100, KOOL 105.9, 1190 KEX, 620 KPOJ
On August 30, Big Screen on the Green proudly presents The Sound of Music. Includes music by Rose City Band, face painting, climbing wall, Rec ‘n Roll bus, and a special appearance by Charmian Carr who played Liesl in the original 1965 movie cast.
