Review Guidelines
- A valid email address is required to review a business on Neighborhood Notes.
- Anonymous reviews will not be approved. Identification by first and last name is preferred.
- Do not post threatening, hateful, vulgar, harassing, obscene, defamatory or libelous statements.
- Do not intentionally make false or misleading statements.
- Do not offer to sell or buy any product or service. Do not include links to these products or services.
- Do not post material that infringes copyright.
- Do not post information that is confidential, sensitive or otherwise in breach of the law.
- Reviews by business owners and employees (on their own business/employer) present a conflict of interest and will not be posted.
Reviewer Privacy and Protection
A valid email address is required to review a business on Neighborhood Notes. It will not be displayed unless you type it in the body of your review (which we will edit out). You will not be subscribed to any mailing list by leaving a comment, nor will your email address be sold. We will not share your email address with business owners.
If you use an invalid email address or one that requires any type of human interaction to confirm that Neighborhood Notes is not a spammer, your comment will be deleted.
Review Moderation
All reviews submitted to Neighborhood Notes are moderated. We read and approve reviews as quickly as possible. If your review does not appear within 24 hours and adheres to our guidelines, please feel free to contact us.
Neighborhood Notes reserves the right to remove reviews at our discretion.
Terms of Use
You, and only you, are responsible for your words. They are yours and you retain the copyright for them. However, by posting a review on Neighborhood Notes you are granting Neighborhood Notes the right, in perpetuity, to use, alter and/or display it however Neighborhood Notes sees fit. You agree that the review content is your own, and to hold Neighborhood Notes and all its subsidiaries and representatives harmless from any and all repercussions, damages or liability.
Please remember that once you submit a review to Neighborhood Notes, it becomes part of a public conversation. Choose your words wisely!
