Neighborhood Notes

Blah. That's right. We're sick, sick, sick and haven't been up to posting. Half the battle of creating a good post is getting out and about to find out what's going on and this weekend, we're staying in!

We did make it out yesterday for a brief period of time. Had a delicious breakfast at Byways Cafe. If you like Byways, but don't like the wait, let me suggest an early breakfast on a weekday. We were there at 7 a.m. and practically had the place--and the bacon--to ourselves. We also took a peek around the neighborhood (throughout the day) to see the impact of "black Friday". It was pretty quiet, although places like REI and Cheeky B were exceptionally busy.
