Neighborhood Notes

Shooter and I stopped by Nuvrei this morning for breakfast. It's always nice to say hi to Marius and check out the bakery. We noticed that the space looked a little different and Marius told us that Nuvrei is now being featured at all Stumptown Coffee locations. To give you perspective on what a sweet deal this is... Nuvrei used to make 600 pastries per day for all of its accounts and now they prepare 800 for Stumptown alone. As a result, Nuvrei expanded the back of its space and has rearranged it's interior to reflect its focus on pastries.

Nuvrei is no longer making wedding cakes -- sad news for brides, but great news for those of us who enjoy a delicious Stumptown latte paired with a chocolate orange scone.
