Personally, I think this is a phenomenal idea. Kudos to Physical Element and Sole for helping not only themselves, but the larger business community. It rocks when small businesses are able to have high impact at low cost. I spoke with one participating retailer and she could hardly believe the return on her investment for this simple endeavor. I hope that the business association will take note of this grass roots effort and use this -- or similarly simple, yet brilliant ideas -- to bring business to the local merchants.
