A reader asks:

while i sit and wait... do you know the store hours of nuvrei. and i did a silly thing. i walked by, walked down the stairs, saw the ONE door that you can't really see through and just turned around. is nuvrei something you can just walk into and buy a croissant, etc.

Nuvrei is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Some of you may remember the pastry cart that Nuvrei had on the corner of 10th and Flanders. If you're wondering where it went -- here's the deal -- it's gone. Now you can buy your pastries and french press coffee inside Nuvrei at their bakery counter. Don't be deterred by the door. If it's within business hours, push it open and go right in! Otherwise you'll miss the counter full of cookies, scones, brioche and other Nuvrei delights.

I spoke with Marius (the owner) this afternoon and he is sending me a list of places that sell Nuvrei pastries. I'll post that as soon as it hits my inbox.
