Polish the Pearl spring 2007

by pearlgirl
Polish the Pearl, the pearl neighborhood clean up will be held on saturday, April 28th. Volunteers will meet at Blitz Bar at 110 NW 10th at 9 a.m. for sign in, assignments, tools and a light breakfast. After a brief safety talk, we'll clean every street in the pearl and end the day at SoLo Bar for a volunteer luncheon at noon.

Neighborhood Notes will offer an online registration next week for those of you who want to fill out your paperwork in advance. It does help the sign in table volunteers quite a bit, so we'd appreciate it if you sign up online! This also gives our planning committee a clue about how many volunteers will participate and that is really helpful for a variety of issues.

This event is sponsored by the Pearl District Neighborhood Association. Our thanks to SoLo and Blitz for offering their locations as the start and endpoint of the event. They rock!

This was posted on 4/13 -- therefore making the reference to "next week" valid. Unfortunately, we've had technical glitches that have prevented us from posting the online registration. We're still working on it and hope to have online registration available before the event. If not, we'll have to do it the old-fashioned way -- on paper.

Polish the Pearl is this weekend, so having the sign up sheet next week might be a little late.
