Style news from Relish
by pearlgirl
Greetings!
Now that Autumn is upon us, we take time to reflect on our past efforts and our upcoming endeavors.
As we mentioned previously, we successfully launched our first catalogue campaign, 'Spaces', in late August. The response was terrific and we were pleasantly reminded that we have excited customers all over the world! With that, we are at it again, working on our second catalogue, 'Designer-Makers'. It will feature emerging products and designers, both Portland-based and from all over the world. many are people like you and me that took a leap of faith to start a product, a design or a business. We are certain that you will enjoy what we've come up with!
We intend to drop the second catalogue in late November. If you would like a copy, please send us an email. And while you're at it, check out the PDF version of Spaces (see link on our website) to get a feel for what our catalogues are all about! In the meantime, if you haven't been in the store, we have a lot going on. Please come by and have a look at some of our new designers!
Cheers to all, take care of each other.
The Ladies of Relish
Finnish Design Comes to Portland
Straight from Finland, Marimekko has come to Portland. Founded in 1951 by textile designer Armi Ratia and her husband Viljo, the now classic designs of Marimekko have not only sparked a revolution in pattern making but also pioneered a new definition of fashion that embraces the whole of your environment, from home to body and everything in between.
A half century later, Marimekko's line has expanded to include fabric, tableware, kitchen accessories, bed linen, bath articles, make up bags, clothing, and handbags. We do hope that you will visit this amazing arrival, either here in our store, or live on our website.
