NoLo or No Love

North of Lovejoy is a hard hat zone. Bridgeport Brewpub is doing a major renovation. The Cronin Building has been leveled and Robert Ball has started construction on his newest condominium project in that space. Tanner Springs Park (which is also part of Hoyt Street Yards) is nearing completion and will have its grand opening August 5 and 6. The Metropolitan, Hoyt Group's much anticipated luxury condominium building, will break ground in the very near future (also a part of Hoyt Street Yards).

SoLo

Lovejoy Square is moving and shaking. In addition to Cheeky B, Dog Day Afternoon, On Deck Sportsbar, Pearl Nails and American Family Insurance...recent additions include SOLO Terrace Wraps,Title 9, Fresh Skincare Boutique, Foot Bar and Rafia Dental. Now under contstruction is Office Max, Solo Martini Bar, and Signal (sports gear for women).

Down the street, The Crane Building is in process of being converted from the home of The American Rag Company to the headquarters of Guardian Management Company, 3 floors of apartments and 2 luxury penthouses.

Hoyt Street Yards

The big news is obvious...Hoyt Street Realty became Hoyt Group Realty and moved into their new office in the Lexis Condos. Wells Fargo (presently in the RiverTec Building) will be moving into Hoyt Street's old space. Got that? Fenouil is still under construction in Park Place...they hit a few construction snags, but the word is that they are working hard and are very excited to bring fine French cuisine to Jamison Square. Olive or Twist has started their construction and anticipates opening by the end of summer.

Elsewhere in the 'hood

Olive (not sure if the store is a boutique or bar) will open in August in the former Bon Chic space (next door to Lexidog).
