Here's a message from the City of Portland Planners regarding the North Pearl District Plan:

On Tuesday, June 10, 2008, the Portland Planning Commission unanimously approved revised versions of the North Pearl District Plan and the Proposed Zoning Code Amendments. 

The Planning Commission's recommended versions of the plan and zoning amendments, as well as the Design Commission's recommended updates to the River District Design Guidelines, will be presented to the Portland City Council on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at 2:00 PM.  This hearing will occur in City Hall located at 1221 SW Fourth Avenue, Portland, Oregon.

During this hearing staff will be making a short presentation regarding the Planning Commission's recommended version of the plan, testimony will be taken, and it is possible Council will also make a decision to adopt or amend the North Pearl District Plan package at this hearing.

The North Pearl District Plan and associated documents can be viewed at the Bureau of Planning's web site for the North Pearl District Plan (http://www.portlandonline.com/planning/index.cfm?&c=43575) and hard copies can be made available upon request from the Bureau of Planning.
