Green Sprouts is a fun, festive and educational one-day event for the whole family that celebrates and promotes the nurturing of life through nature. From pregnancy to childhood, parents can learn about and explore eco-friendly, community-involved, natural, and healthy options to raising their families. 10am-5pm. Admission: $3 suggested donation to benefit local charity.

1. ample fields and park space to lay out a picnic blanket, toss a ball, and enjoy the outdoors

4. an extensive 2 acre, well maintained rose garden

Bring a Picnic, Have a Snack, Stay A While!
Peninsula Park has plenty of picnic tables and places to lay out a picnic blanket so bring your own food or stop by the New Seaons Market a few blocks away and plan to have a family picnic. For added convenience we will also have several food vendors on hand serving their delicious meals!

Join Local Parent & Playgroups
Looking to meet other parents who share the same philosophy and approach as you do when it comes to raising your children? If so, be sure to come to Green Sprouts and sign up for our FREE parenting and playgroup matching service. After Green Sprouts, we will contact you with a list of other parents in your area along with the name of a group leader who will set up the first meeting.

Maternity & Baby Clothing Swap
Got some clothes that you no longer need? Bring your gently worn and clean clothes to Green Sprouts and offer them to someone else. Any left over items will be donated to a local charity.
