by pearlgirlIn the interest of sharing even more news and events about Portland's 95 neighborhoods, we've decided to share our bookmarks with you. Basically, we'll assemble a collection of links each day (and a weekend recap on Monday mornings) that feature headlines, interesting stories, reviews and more. If it's about your neighborhood, it's worth sharing!
This weekend, highlights include reviews of the Superman Orchestra at the Hollywood Theater and "Grub" at IFCC in Kenton. We also got a peek inside the New Deal Distillery and the word on its yet-to-be-released chocolate vodka, as well as a personal account of the premiere of Gus Van Sant's "Milk" at Downtown's Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Finally, we learned that OMSI plans to double the size of its current facility in Hosford-Abernethy and create even more space for exhibits and other developments.
