Whether you're planning a quick trip to the farmers' market, a day at the beach, a weekend getaway to wine country, or even your daily commute, a good tote bag will help you navigate a whole host of summer activities in style.
For some serious style points, though, get your carry-all bag at an indie retailer and support the local economy. Because that's how we roll in Portland.

Hmmm. Funny. I'm almost always carrying around a backpack, but inside that backpack you can always find Band-Aids, tissues, Chapstick, hand lotion, a flashlight, a bottle opener, spare shoelaces, matches, a knife and no fewer than two totes, because you never know when you might make a quick dash to the market. So get some totes and store them in your purse, your backpack, your satchel or...your other tote!
1 likeThanks for sharing, Chad! There are some really amazing, locally made backpacks that deserve their own roundup. And really, with all this rain, backpacks get more use here in #pdx. But there's nothing like a good tote bag to set the mood for the summer sun. And I'm in the mood for summer sun, aren't you?
