The City of Portland has made its proposed draft of the Portland Plan available for public comment until November 30. The Portland Plan is a "communitywide process to create a 25-year plan for the future of the city." From the Portland Plan website:
Developed in response to some of Portland’s most pressing challenges, including income disparities, high unemployment, a low high school graduation rate and environmental concerns, the Portland Plan presents a strategic path forward.

This fall and winter, the draft will come before the city's Planning and Sustainability Commission (PSC) for hearings and recommendations to the City Council. There will be three hearings for public comment:
