Join the Northwest District Association Graffiti Task Force

Graffiti is an epidemic problem in Portland’s northwest neighborhoods. From the large spray painted ‘tags’ on NW 23rd to the stickers attached to sign poles on residential streets, no block has been spared. The Safety and Livability Committee of the Northwest District Association (NWDA) is forming a group to conquer the problem. Now is the time to get involved.

According to Tanya March, Co-Chair of the Safety and Livability Committee, “It’s sad to see all this graffiti in our neighborhood. It’s tucked into every nook and cranny. We urge those who live and work in the area to come join our effort.” An initial strategy meeting is planned for early May.
