Our friends at Portland Picks have this to say about the newish Red Fox Bar located at 5128 N. Albina in Portland's Humboldt neighborhood:
NoPo's new Red Fox is somewhat dingy, stuck in a corner, and hard to find. But what you will find is a great jukebox with lots of Motown songs, cheap and strong cocktails, good bar food and a tiny but welcoming patio out front where you can play Spot the Hipster while you talk about shoes with your chi-chi girlfriends.
With the colorful new addition of a mural by Portland artists Chris Johanson and Jo Jackson, the Red Fox is definitely easier to spot and, like the Red Fox clientele, easier on the eyes as well. Learn more about the mural and its artists on PORT.

Arts at the Heart of Community Mural in Multnomah

Over in Southwest Portland's Multnomah neighborhood, 750 members of the public envisioned and painted the 180-foot "Arts at the Heart of Community" mural in the Multnomah Arts Center. The project was led by Portland artist Aimee Erickson.
A mural dedication ceremony and artists' reception is planned at the MAC open house on Friday, November 6, 5-9 p.m.
