Isobel's Central City Food Drive

Last December Sunshine Division and Isobel's Clubhouse worked together to organize a food drive that generated over 1,100 pounds of food. Believe it or not more than half those pounds of food came from just 3 buildings!

This year the economic situation is even more dire for Oregonians. We're organizing the drive for mid-October, rather than December. It seems like so much giving is concentrated at the end of the year, but hunger is year round, especially in the current economic climate.

How can you help? We hope you'll work with your condo home owners association or property management company to get permission for Sunshine Division to deliver one of their distinctive blue bins to your lobby.

Is it complicated? Sunshine Division makes it easy. They deliver a bin to your lobby. When it's full, you call Sunshine Division and they pick it up. And it's simple to buy a few extra cans when grocery shopping, and toss them in the bin in your lobby as you head upstairs.

For more information, or to request a bin, please contact Nancy at 503.313.8047 or email her.
