Couch Park has some great activities for families and children this summer.
Summer fun every Friday afternoon? YES! The Playground on Wheels comes to the park Friday afternoons from 1:30 - 4:30 through August 7th. Playground on Wheels brings free and fun activities for children and their families. There's no need to sign up - just drop in and enjoy. The events are sponsored by Portland Parks and Recreation.
In addition to these special events, Couch Park has a nice playground with fun slides and great shade trees. A perfect place to be on a hot afternoon.
Couch Park is at NW 19th and Glisan.
Trash Can Joe is playing at Wallace Park (Couch park concerts are the first two Thursday's in August.)
