We had fun, fun, fun with Eva and Seth at the Cool Moon Ice Cream Family Tour they generously hosted for families that play at Isobel's Clubhouse.
The tour was fun as well as educational. Eva showed off the gleaming commercial kitchen about 20 children, who appreciated the huge gear including blenders and ice cream mixers taller than the kids. And the parents appreciated seeing the high quality and local ingredients Cool Moon chooses for their yummy products. The children's senses were engaged in each step of the process, smelling the peppermint, looking at the changing texture of the ice cream, and tasting the chocolate peppermint icecream right out of the machine.
A parent and I were watching from the hallway as Seth talked with the kids and they followed his every word. We commented on how focused their faces were, and how intently they were listening. Part of what makes this tour great is that Eva and Seth engage the kids sincerely and maturely, and the kids respond in kind.
Not that it was all serious, however. After the tour we packed the retail space and enjoyed cones, cups and shakes of our favorite flavors before heading out into the neighborhood to enjoy the sun.
Thank you Cool Moon for another amazing family tour! Pictures of the tour are up on our Flickr page.

OMG. Love the photos. Thanks for sharing them!
