We just heard that Parallel Boutique will be moving from its digs at 1122 NW Marshall. Owner Tez Hartney says she'll stay in her current space through May, but she'll reopen in June at 1022-A NW Johnson.
Retail and restaurant sleuths will know the 1022 NW Johnson address as the home of Sinju Restaurant (suite b) and Pearl Audio Video (suite a)—so what's the deal? Pearl Audio Video is consolidating its main showroom and cushy McIntosh/Leica showroom at 1038 NW Johnson. They decided to sublet the space at 1022 NW Johnson and Hartney snapped it up.
The square footage of Parallel's current digs are the same as the new, but the layout is something Hartney is very excited about. Her new location is one spacious level and she's looking forward to filling it with contemporary fashions for women and men.
What better way to christen the new space than with a trunk show from a local designer? On June 5th, from 5pm-8pm, Parallel will showcase May Tee's fall 2009 collection. Tee will debut pieces only available at Parallel.
