City Snaps: Time Based Arts Festival (TBA)

When PICA announced the TBA:09 lineup, I started thinking about all the great photography from TBA. Each year, PICA assembles a talented group of photographers, writers, and videographers to help document TBA. This dedicated group freely gives their time and talent to PICA and to the artists who participate in TBA. Each participating artist receives photos of their performance or work. This is important, because many artists can't afford professional photography and the images from PICA give them quality images for promotion and the press. I've been fortunate to be a part of the press corps for the last three years. It's a blast, and you get to see more of the festival than most people. TBA:09 starts September 3, I can hardly wait!

Here are a few of my favorites from TBA:08. Be sure to follow the link to the PICA flickr gallery to see more!
