2009 City of Portland Budget Forums

It's budget time at the City of Portland. Read on to find out how you can be involved and make a difference. You've got options!

 

OPTION #1: Save the Date & Attend a Community Budget Forum!

Join City Council, Bureau Directors and your neighbors at one of Portland's Community Budget Forums and voice your priorities for next year's City budget. Finances are tight and your input on what programs and services are most important to keep is needed! Three forums will be held:

  • 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb 19
    St. Johns Community Center
    8427 N Central St
  • 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Saturday, Feb 21
    Floyd Light Middle School
    10800 SE Washington St
  • 6:30-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb 24
    Multnomah Art Center
    7688 SW Capitol Highway

All locations are ADA accessible; for accommodations call 503-823-2559, TDD: 503-823-6868.

 

OPTION #2: Sign up for table space at a Community Fair!

All forums will begin with a ½ hour Community Fair! (6-6:30 Tues & Thurs or 9:30-10 AM Saturday) Refreshments will be served! Space (1/2 table) available to 10 community organizations per forum with preference given to those serving the local neighbors on a first-come, first-served basis!
