Last night's dinner—homemade mushroom soup (shroomies from Portland Farmers Market) served with rosemary bread—presented a real wine challenge. Oh, we wanted wine, we just weren't sure what to open. So, we called our friendly neighborhood sommelier Timothy Nishimoto for a little advice.
I love Tim's willingness to give advice on wine pairings—even when we're calling him from home, instead of dining at his bistro. We're really lucky to have him in the neighborhood! But, it made me wonder where other neighbors get guidance on wine—or do you?
