Portland Open Studios In Your Neighborhood

Portland Open Studios invites you to visit 98 individual artists' studios throughout the Portland metro area. You will see a diverse group of artists working in their chosen media-painting, sculpting, blowing glass and much more. You will meet emerging artists in their 20s and 30s as well as mid-career and well-established artists from all over the United States and the world who have chosen to live and work in the Portland metro area.

How to visit the artists' studios

* Studios are open from 10 am to 5 pm.
* Buy a Tour Guide: good for 2 adults (children through high school are free) for all 4 days.
* Read the blog to learn more about individual artists.
* Find the artists you want to visit; follow the map and directions.
* Drive your car, ride your bike, catch a bus, or walk to as many studios as you can. And new for 2008: EcoShuttle!

Portland Open Studios offers artists in the Portland metro area opportunities to showcase their work, engage a curious public, and network with other artists, all within a supportive environment. It's a unique educational organization that serves the community and helps artists meet their professional goals through workshops, publicity, exhibitions, and the open studios tour. October 11, 12, 18, & 19.
