These dinners pair food, wine and a featured artist, and provide you the opportunity to meet the artist in a more intimate setting. Its a nice change of pace from First Thursday.
The next CC&C is May 7th at 6:30PM and features artist Carol Sims showing bold botanical acrylic paintings. The menu starts with lobster with avocado mousse, hearts of palm and papaya paired with Loire white wine. The entrée is roasted beef tenderloin, potato goat cheese gratin, tempura green beans, and ginger peppercorn sauce paired with Washington state syrah. Dessert is coconut ice cream with shortbread cookies and mango coulis. How can you resist that!
