Pop Culture in the Oregonian

The Oregonian highlights Pop Culture Frozen Yogurt in its Storefronts section:

What's new: Pop Culture, with healthy treats for people and pets, opened Feb. 1 Where & when: 900 N.W. Lovejoy St., Suite 160, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday What's cool: Frozen yogurt, of course. People toppings include granola, berries and other healthy toppings. The pet version gets a dog biscuit on top. Why: The owners bring a personal and professional expertise to the venture. Terry Bafus was an industrial engineer who was diagnosed with cancer, a result, he says, of Agent Orange exposure. Cancer-free for four years, he's become more interested in healthy living. His business partner, Elizabeth Gallagher, is a nurse practitioner. Together they've come up with a menu of affordable, low-fat, low-cal offerings: frozen yogurt, smoothies, soups, sandwiches and coffee. The Pearl Swirl is the showpiece, with a proprietary blend of tangy frozen yogurt, berries, granola, bananas and honey.
