The Cordon Bleu-accredited Barnett arrived in Portland with a resume that includes working at Canadas lauded Lumiere Restaurant and a stint as an assistant on Chef Rob Feenies Food Network Canada show, New Classics with Rob Feenie.
Barnett also studied under esteemed Chef Gary Danko before working as a sous chef at San Franciscos Myth Restaurant. He then moved on to an executive chef position at Desert Sage Restaurant in La Quinta, Calif., where he cemented his stellar reputation when the restaurant earned the best new restaurant award from Palm Springs Life magazine.
