Neighbors,
For the past several years, our neighbors at AzTech Signs have generously donated to the annual PDNA Party and never asked for anything in return. Now one of their team could use our help.
A long-time employee of AzTech, Peter Green, was in a serious auto accident June 30 that left him in a coma with severe injuries (see note from AzTech owner, Kevin Conley, below). Fortunately, Peter is now conscious and walking a little, but his recovery is going to be a long one and, of course, his medical bills costly.

North of Lovejoy is a hard hat zone. Bridgeport Brewpub is doing a major renovation. The Cronin Building has been leveled and Robert Ball has started construction on his newest condominium project in that space. Tanner Springs Park (which is also part of Hoyt Street Yards) is nearing completion and will have its grand opening August 5 and 6. The Metropolitan , Hoyt Group's much anticipated luxury condominium building, will break ground in the very near future (also a part of Hoyt Street Yards).

HOYT STREET REALTY’S NEW NAME, NEW OFFICE REFLECTS ITS ROLE IN THE PEARL

The Pearl District’s largest real estate agency, Hoyt Street Realty has moved its office, changing its name and launched a new website to reflect its real estate focus on the ever-expanding Pearl District. Now known as Hoyt Realty Group , the same great staff can be found in The Lexis condominiums, 1130 NW 10th Avenue.
For the last 10 years Hoyt Street Realty has served as the primary marketer of Hoyt Street Properties’ (HSP) 34-acre, multi-use residential community in the Pearl District. The move better positioned the realty office for the northern development of HSP’s final ten blocks of the $600 million urban neighborhood known as Hoyt Yards.
According to Marilyn Andersen, Hoyt Realty Group’s Principal Broker, the name change more appropriately reflects the agency’s resale listings throughout the entire Pearl District, beyond just that of Hoyt Street Properties’ development.

Wrapping it up

So, I finally had a chance to visit Solo Terrace Wraps in Lovejoy Square and I've already been there twice! The prices are reasonable, the wraps are fabulous and the service is great. What more could you ask for...except evening hours???

Tanner Springs Park

The Pearl's second public park (outside of the North Park Blocks) will open with pomp and circumstance on August 5. Festivities are planned for both August 5th (6-9pm) and August 6th (noon to 5pm).
Meanwhile, take a sneak peek at the park by signing up for private tour. Tours begin at Via Delizia and are available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the end of the month.
