The Heathman Restaurant and Bar's longstanding Thanksgiving tradition of a grand buffet as well as a prix fixe menu brings generations together to celebrate the day and the bounty of Northwest ingredients prepared by award-winning Chef Philippe Boulot. The Heathman offers the prix fixe menu in the dining room from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with an early bird seating from 11 a.m. to noon and the holiday buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the second floor mezzanine and private dining rooms. Both the prix fixe dinner and the grand buffet are $46.50 per adult and $18 per child under 12. The early bird seating in the dining room from 11 a.m. to noon is $30 per adult and $12 per child. Holiday Menu Selections - from Roasted Turkey to Pumpkin Cheesecake
Thanksgiving menus at the Heathman always highlight traditional winter items as curried butternut squash soup, roasted turkey with sage stuffing, and, of course, pumpkin pie. Chef Boulot, using the bounty of the Pacific Northwest, also offers smoked salmon and trout, Bay shrimp, Dungeness crab and steamed mussels and clams. Entrees include roasted turkey, citrus smoked pork rack, salmon coulibiac and penne pistou pasta with wild mushroom ragout. Pastry Chef John Gayer has created an array of holiday desserts ... from chocolate mousse cake to his famous pecan tart and pear frangipane tart.

New this year is the prepared Thanksgiving dinner available in single servings for $22.95. Choices for á la carte Thanksgiving Dinner Menu - All dinner menu selections are priced a la carte. Dessert prices are from $11.95 to $19.95 per pie/tart.

  • Appetizers - platters filled with a trio assortment of shrimp; salami, seasoned nuts, artichoke parmesan spread, smoked salmon mousse, fruits and cheeses; vegetable crudité assortment; stuffed mushroom caps; and deviled eggs
  • Seasonal soups - butternut squash & pear and wild mushroom soup
  • Salads and side dishes - featuring Willamette Valley salad, traditional creamy mashed potatoes, savory stuffing, yams with apricot nectar and pecans, green beans with mushrooms and Madeira.
  • Fresh roasted turkey ranging from a 3 lb. turkey breast, serving 4-6, to a 20 lb. turkey which serves 12-14. A 14-lb Free Range roasted turkey, serving 10, is also available.
  • Trimmings - cranberry orange relish, dinner rolls, gravy, and pumpkin raisin bread.
  • Desserts - Holiday favorites: Kentucky Pecan pie (traditional pecan pie with a touch of bourbon), Oregon's native Marionberry pie, French Apple pie, and Pumpkin & Sweet Potato pie.
