Aquifer Adventure

The Portland Water Bureau and the Columbia Slough Watershed Council invite you to attend Aquifer Adventure: A Groundwater Treasure Hunt. Aquifer Adventure is a fun, family event where area kids, families and some pirates will gather in the Columbia South Shore Well FieldAquifer Adventure highlights the award-winning groundwater protection program and the partnership of Portland, Gresham and Fairview.
for a fun day of canoe rides, treasure hunting and games. This is an educational event focusing on groundwater, water conservation, and groundwater protection actions that you can take at home.Highlights of this year's Aquifer Adventure include free pirate-guided canoe trips for intrepid treasure hunters and their families, live music and interactive games. Participants will receive a complimentary t-shirt and refreshments will be available.
