By chance, we wandered into Chez Joly this morning for breakfast and discovered that we were their first customers! Newly open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Chez Joly, owned and operated by the Joly family, is a welcomed addition to the edge of the Pearl. It's located in the DeSoto Building at Broadway and Davis. Chez Joly, decorated in a comfortable French café style, is both elegant and comfortable. The menu is affordable and offers a wide variety of country French cuisine.Our breakfast was served with a smile, the staff was attentive, the coffee was robust and the bill was reasonable—so much so my companion decided to return for lunch with a friend to continue checking it out! [The report was that the place was bustling and lunch was a hit, too!] Chez Joly will be another great choice to consider and we look forward to returning.
