Guest Contributor Guidelines

As a guest contributor, we welcome your articles on neighborhood activities, civic news, reviews and more. Because Neighborhood Notes is the place where neighbors communicate and connect, sharing your noteworthy topics here is the perfect vehicle for continued conversation about our city happenings. Connect with us first, to pitch us your article idea. When you’re given the green light from our editorial staff, have at it. We wish to foster constructive conversation around the topics that matter most to us—your thoughtful article could entertain and inform to keep that conversation going. Please remember that we do not accept articles showcasing bad behavior (like name calling or senseless ranting).


Content Guidelines

  • Do not post threatening, hateful, vulgar, harassing, obscene, defamatory or libelous statements.
  • Do not intentionally make false or misleading statements.
  • Do not offer to sell or buy any product or service. Do not include links to these products or services.
  • Do not post material that infringes copyright.
  • Do not post information that is confidential, sensitive or otherwise in breach of the law.


Guest Contributor Privacy and Protection

A valid email address and your full name is required to submit articles to Neighborhood Notes. You will not be subscribed to any mailing list by submitting an article, nor will your email address be sold.

If you provide an invalid email address or fail to provide your full name, your article will not be published.
