Join in this celebration of harvest, community and bicycles inspired by the classic county fair. Main stage events, contests, demos and seminars take place throughout the day in arenas and exhibition areas within the bakery’s “fairgrounds” and next door, at Boise-Eliot Elementary School. Novella Carpenter, author of Farm City, takes the main stage at 11 a.m. to share 10+ years experience as an urban farmer cultivating a full-blown city farm near downtown Oakland, CA.
