On Saturday, August 7th from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. the Sellwood and Westmoreland neighborhoods will be festooned in bright color, as giant balloons swing from every street corner, inviting all to celebrate as businesses open their doors for the “Passport to Sellwood Westmoreland” Summer Sale. In addition to the Passport game (to win gift certificates donated from over 100 of the local businesses), there will be afternoon musical entertainment in each neighborhood.
The interactive “Passport to Sellwood & Westmoreland” game will be in full swing as visitors try to amass at least 8 stamps in their ‘Sellwood & Westmoreland Passport’ (every business will stamp the passport with no purchase required). Passports with 8 stamps enter a person in a large drawing to win gift certificates donated from every participating business. Those visitors with at least 15 stamps are entered in the drawing to win one of many grand prizes. There will be a special prize for the person who gathers the most stamps of all!
