Please join us for Spanish Play Group at Isobel's Clubhouse on Tuesdays from 9:30 - 10:30. Adults who are conversational in Spanish are welcome to bring the children in their lives. Native speakers are especially welcome! 

What will we do?

We speak for the whole hour only in Spanish. We mostly just have open play but we are open to singing, reading, or playing games together in Spanish. Ven y juega con nosotros!

How much does it cost?

This activity has a recommended donation of $3 - $5 per family. 

What should I bring?

We have fun toys and books, and you’re always welcome to bring something to share. And please bring your fun ideas for group songs and games.

Details

  • This event begins at 9:30. Clean up will start at 10:15 and the event will end at 10:30.
  • Like all events at the Clubhouse, this is a parent/caregiver and child event. A parent or caregiver will need to be with the child at all times.
  • There is no cost for this event, and donations are gladly accepted.
  • As our space is limited, the activity is limited to a maximum of 10 children and their adults.
  • Please remember to use the bathroom before you come to the Clubhouse, as we don’t have on one site.


Age range

This activity can be modified for all children.

Where is the Clubhouse?

The Clubhouse is on the 300th block of NW 10th between Hanna Andersson and Cupcake Jones.

What is Isobel’s Clubhouse?

It’s central Portland’s family room; a not for profit place for families to play. Isobel's Clubhouse is Zimmerman Community Center's family program.

Nancy and her husband Jason moved to the Pearl in 2001. They loved it so much that in 2002 they moved their business to the neighborhood. Their son was born in 2003, and he enjoys scouting and sharing the kid-friendly aspects of the neighborhood. Nancy is the Executive Director of Zimmerman Community Center.
