Green East and Northeast Portland with Friends of Trees this Saturday!

Event location: East & Northeast Portland neighborhoods

All you need to do is simply show up around 8:45 a.m. at the staging sites listed below.  Friends of Trees will provide morning refreshments, gloves, and tools, as well as guidance from experienced volunteer crew leaders. We just ask that you wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.  It’s a fun and easy way to make a difference in your community!

EAST PORTLAND

Argay, Parkrose, Parkrose Heights, Russell and Wilkes neighborhoods.  Join us to plant almost 150 street trees!  Meet at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 12505 NE Halsey St.

NORTHEAST PORTLAND

Alameda, Grant Park, Irvington and Sabin neighborhoods.  We’ll plant 120 street trees—please join us!  Meet at the Friends of Trees office, 3117 NE MLK Blvd.
