Examining Equity in Portland Public Schools

Join the LWV Portland for a panel discussion on school equity. Panelists Carole Smith, Portland Public Schools Superintendent; Barbara Rommel, David Douglas School District Superintendent; Karen Fischer Gray, Parkrose School District Superintendent; and Dan Ryan, Portland Schools Foundation; will discuss equity among schools, particularly in areas of staffing, Foundation grants, and access to services such as art, PE and music, as well as TAG and special education programs.
