Tree Planting Along I-205 Bike Path in Montavilla

Event location: SE Yamhill and SE 94th Avenue

Plant trees with Friends of Trees this Saturday! We'll be planting trees along the I-205 bike path in Montavilla. All you need to do is simply show up. Friends of Trees will provide morning refreshments, gloves, tools, and all necessary guidance. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

Please arrive no later than 9am at SE Yamhill Street and SE 94th Avenue to register and be assigned to a planting crew.

    Women's Voices Rise Up in Celebration of Human Resistance!

    Connect with other community activists at a feminist year-end celebration of the tenacious human spirit. The evening will feature seditious music, fiery poetry, subversive spoken word, and an outrageous open mic. Funds raised will fuel the activism of two fabulous, grassroots organizations: Radical Women and In Other Words Women's Books and Resources. All genders welcome!


    Held at In Other Words Women's Books and Resources, 8 NE Killingsworth Street, Portland. Accessible on Tri-Met bus lines #44 and #72. Door donation $5-10. An array of scrumptious desserts available for $4.00. Childcare provided.
