George R. White Library & Learning Center Open House

Concordia University is opening the doors to our new, state-of-the-art library and learning center and the celebration won't be complete without you. Join us for a fun event for the whole family featuring:

  • STORY TIMES for children in our Northwest Center for Children's Literature
  • Tours of the library and an opportunity to GET YOUR OWN LIBRARY CARD
  • "SHAKESPEARE-IN-THE-PARK" featuring the Portland Actors Ensemble
    Concordia University ampitheater at 3:00p.m.
  • FREE BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS in our Nursing Center
  • Information about the COMMUNITY ROOM and how you can access it

The George R. White Library & Learning Center is 74,000 sq. ft., with double the number of volumes, state-of-the-art classrooms, faculty offices, a community meeting space, six important centers of learning, and a coffee house. You will be a welcome guest when the doors open in August and we hope you join us for the celebration and then visit often to check out a book, access the internet, or enjoy a coffee.
