The Maplewood Neighborhood Association will host the annual Maplewood Picnic on Sunday, August 2 from 1:00 - 4:30 at Maplewood Elementary. Maplewood Elementary is located at 7452 SW 52nd Avenue at SW Maplewood.
This year's event features live music from local bands The Usual Suspects and DRC. Activities include a huge bouncy house, ice cream and gelato, popcorn, cold drinks and hot dogs, kid's field games, and visits from the police and fire bureaus. Come picnic with your neighbors. Play squirt guns with the kids. Win a sweet treat at the cupcake walk. Try your luck with the raffle. Visit the information booths and learn about all this great neighborhood has to offer.
The Maplewood Neighborhood Association thanks picnic supporters including Alotto Gelato, the Garden Home Starbucks and Garden Home Thriftway, Raleigh Hills Fred Meyer, Costco, West Hills Friends Church, and the wonderful SWNI staff in Multnomah Village.
The Maplewood Picnic is a "National Night Out" Event.
