This is a fun and affordable community event for you, your whole family and all your friends! Chicken owners throughout Portland will open their yards so you can see their coops and meet their chickens. No matter your chicken knowledge, you'll have the opportunity to visit up to 25 backyard chicken coops all over East Portland - getting to know your neighbors while learning and sharing urban chicken keeping ideas.

You can also enter the raffle to win one of two coops (made by local coop designers!), chicken feed and/or gift certificates donated by local nurseries and feed stores! More detailed information on the raffle to come.

* Pre-sale tickets will be available one week prior to the Tour de Coops at various locations around Portland.
* Price: $10/booklet. This is an increase from last year for pedestrians and bicyclists , though feel free to share!
* Don't want to drive? For those on foot or traveling by bike, there will be several convenient coop 'clusters' in close proximity to one another for your convenience.

The Tour de Coops is organized by Growing Gardens staff and volunteers. All proceeds from The Tour de Coops go to Growing Gardens, helping us continue providing the services to our community through our various programs.
