Day of the Dead Crafts @ Isobel's Clubhouse

Event date: October 29th, 2008 3:30 AM

Event location: Isobel's Clubhouse

<<THIS EVENT IS FULL. SADLY WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY MORE RSVPS>>

Join us to decorate sugar skulls and make flags for Day of the Dead on 10/29 at 3:30.  RSVP required - please RSVP to nancy(at)zcommunitycenter(dot)com.

What will we do?

One of our parent volunteers has been making sugar skulls all month so they’ll be dry and ready for children to decorate with colored icing. And she'll also bring molds to the event to teach kids how to make the skulls. Thank you Tanya! We’ll also be teaching kids how to make crepe paper flags. As always, Wednesdays are Messy, Messy, Messy so dress appropriately or don one of our smocks.

What should I bring?

Materials are provided. And you're welcome to come in costume!

Details

This event begins at 3:30. Clean up will start at 4:45 and the event will end at 5:00.

Like all events at the Clubhouse, this is a parent/caregiver and child event. A parent or caregiver will need to be with the child at all times.

There is no cost for this event, and donations are gladly accepted.

As our space is limited, the activity is limited to a maximum of 10 children and their adults.

Please remember to use the bathroom before you come to the Clubhouse, as we don’t have on one site.

Age range

This activity can be modified for all children, with parental assistance
