Violetta

With delay after delay, I’ve been following the rumor of Violetta’s opening in Downtown’s new Director’s Park for six months or more—ironic, considering their tagline, “Slow food fast.” But the wait has been worth it. And meanwhile, they’ve shot to the front of Portland’s best burger race with the patty they’ve been serving out the window of their roving truck, Etta, since January. Now they’re set up to serve quality ingredients to fit your busy schedule and tighter budget all day long, with Caffe Vita coffee and beignets for breakfast, farm fresh salads and hand-dipped corn dogs for lunch, gourmet ice cream sandwiches for dessert, and of course, that Black Angus burger on a brioche bun with butter lettuce, red onion, “10 hour tomatoes,” super dill pickes, and house burger sauce.
