One of Portland’s longest-standing micro-breweries, which has earned a good many awards for its big, bold, high alcohol content beers, has finally opened a tasting room/pub in Buckman to showcase their brews. The airy room, with cement floors (like its nearby neighbor Bunk Bar) and pops of bright color on the walls, is a great place to get to know the HOTDog creations, old and new, and enjoy a complementary food menu that owner/brewer Alan Sprints says will include cheeses, cured meats, pastas, salads, and even Cacao chocolates and Voodoo Doughnuts.
