Trace Salmon is a former auto mechanic and  is currently in transitioning to a career in education. A fourth generation Oregonian, he tries to find new and interesting ways to build community and solve the problems residents face in the King Neighborhood where he has been continually renovating his 1907 house since 1998. Trace is a board member of the King Neighborhood Association, the King School PTA and the King School Site Council.
