In the past two decades, Friends of Trees planted 375,000 trees in the Portland-Metro area, all by community and volunteer based plantings. Toshio Suzuki is the editor of Growth Rings, the local blog for Friends of Trees. Toshio is an experienced journalist and editor, working locally for The Oregonian, Jewish Review and Oregon Public Broadcasting. Toshio also edited documents on the Far East Coast (Japan) for corporations like Toyota, Mitsubishi and Hoshino Gakki.
