Jamie S. Rich is an author of both prose (Cut My Hair, I Was Someone Dead, and The Everlasting) and comics (the ongoing series Love the Way You Love, drawn by Marc Ellerby). He has worked for publishers as diverse as Image Comics, Tokyopop, Ice Kunion, Dark Horse and Viz, and he regularly contributes movie reviews to DVDTalk.com. Have You Seen the Horizon Lately?, his third full-length novel, was released by Oni Press in the summer of 2007. He regularly collaborates with Portland-based artist Joëlle Jones, including the Oni graphic novel 12 Reasons Why I Love Her and the more recent You Have Killed Me, a hardboiled crime story. The pair have also co-created the Spell Checkers, a naughty high school comedy with magic, in conjunction with Nicolas Hitori de and due early 2010, and they had a story in the Portland Noir anthology, published by Akashic Books this past summer.
