Recent University of Portland graduate Amie Dahnke double majored in English and communication studies/journalism. Her ambitions to be a writer came to fruition during her tenure as a Pilot, working on the student newspaper and landing internship positions with The Regence Group and Oregon Bride Magazine. Today, Amie is a freelance writer cleverly disguised as a Pottery Barn sales associate.
