Serial 'jogger rapist' could move into apt 2 blocks from the Pearl

A victim's battle to keep the man who raped her in prison is now in the hands of a judge, but detailed plans for his release are already in place.
Convicted serial rapist Richard Gillmore, 48, could soon move from prison to an apartment in Portland's Old Town neighborhood.
Multnomah County owns and operates an apartment building called “The Medford.” It is located across from a bus station and right above a community service center that helps the homeless. The apartment building is also only two blocks from the Pearl District.
Some people believe it's the wrong place for a convicted rapist who has admitted to raping eight women.
