NW Glisan Sewer Replacement Project Nearly Finished

January 2008
A City of Portland project to replace failing sewer pipes in NW Glisan Street between NW 11th and NW 14th avenues is nearing completion. Work stopped during the annual holiday construction moratorium, but has now resumed. Crews are installing stormwater inlets at intersections and connecting them to the new sewer. They are also installing a few remaining lateral service connection pipes from each property from the curb to the new sewer. This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of January.
Final paving of the trench work areas depends on dry weather and will be completed as soon as possible.
